The Float is built around one precise detail — a thick, generously padded cream linen cushion that overhangs the oak frame on all sides, suspended rather than seated, its rounded corners spilling softly beyond the structure beneath. The oak frame sits visibly below, slim and deliberate, a stretcher-braced trestle of clean lines and pale grain that holds everything up while staying entirely out of the way.

The gap between cushion and frame is the design. It gives the piece a lightness that contradicts its generous proportions — wide enough for two, deep enough to sink into, yet visually so undemanding it disappears into a room rather than dominating it.
