A wide round washed oak top — thin-edged, pale-grained, and quietly textured — floats above a single plaster pedestal that does something no cylinder or square base ever could. The pedestal narrows dramatically from the top into a tight waist before swelling into a full dome below, the whole form reading like an inverted goblet or a potter's vessel caught mid-turn. It is entirely smooth, entirely white, entirely matte — and it catches the light around its curves in a way that makes it appear almost illuminated from within.

Below the dome, a shallow round oak disc — matching the top in tone and grain — grounds the piece on the floor, giving the table its final layer: oak, plaster, oak, a material conversation that repeats itself top to bottom with the logic of something that could not have been designed any other way.
