The arch is one of the oldest forms in architecture. The Nave borrows it — and makes it entirely domestic.

Two solid oak tables nest cleanly within each other — one taller, one lower — each one identical in construction: a flat square top, two solid side panels, and a full arch cut through each panel from base to underside of the top. The arches are generous and round, their curves precise, transforming what would otherwise be plain oak slabs into something that carries genuine visual weight and quiet drama. Pulled apart, they stand as two independent pieces — each complete, each considered. Pushed together, the arches align and the two tables become one composed object, the smaller nesting within the larger with a satisfying closeness.

The oak is pale and warm, its grain running consistently across every surface — top, sides, and arch reveals — so the piece reads as carved from a single material with nothing hidden and nothing applied.
