Ovale Dining Table

Look at the bases. One is a full cylinder. The other is not.

The Ovale carries a long oval walnut top above two pedestals that are almost — but deliberately not — identical. On the left, a solid full cylinder stands complete and self-contained. On the right, a C-shaped panel curves around the same footprint, open at the front, its cut revealing the construction within. It is the kind of asymmetry that feels considered rather than accidental, the kind you notice after a moment and then cannot stop seeing — and would never want removed.

The oval top is wide, generous, and fully rounded at both ends — its warm walnut grain running long across each plank, the colour deep and amber, the surface smooth and flat. It overhangs both bases with the ease of something that was always going to look exactly like this.

Seats six without crowding. Seats eight for the right occasion. The oval means no corner seats, no awkward ends — just six or eight people equally around a table worth gathering at.
