Pila Dining Table

The Pila strips the dining table back to its most elemental form — a wide oval top in natural oak, its surface flush and unhurried, its edges rounded to a clean consistent curve — resting on four solid cylindrical legs in the same pale wood, thick enough to feel substantial, spaced wide enough to keep the floor open beneath. No apron. No stretcher. No detail that was not already necessary.

The oak is light and honest — its grain fine and consistent across the top, the legs showing the same material in cross-section at their base, the whole table reading as one material doing one thing very well. The pale natural tone sits in every room without competing with anything — beside dark walls, in bright rooms, against stone floors or timber, it simply belongs.
