The Bloc opens with a softly curved barrel backrest — gently rounded at the shoulders, slightly winged at each side, cradling you with the kind of quiet comfort that only becomes apparent after you've been sitting for an hour without noticing. The seat is generous and flat. And then, beneath it all, the base does something unexpected — a fully upholstered square plinth, solid and architectural, planted on the floor with absolute stillness. No legs. No gap. Just mass.

The contrast between the curved upper and the squared base gives the Bloc its character — soft where you sit, grounded where it stands. Every surface is covered in the same ivory bouclé, that familiar warmth running consistently from the base to the backrest without a single break in tone or texture.

It disappears into an all-white room. It anchors a darker one. It is equally at home beside a marble dining table as it is tucked into a bedroom corner.
