The Rolo is a custom dining chair with no wood, no contrast and no apology. Instead, it is one material, one tone and one unbroken idea.

One Material, One Tone

Warm sand wool wraps every surface. In fact, it runs from the tips of the four cylindrical legs to the backrest. A fat rolled bar crowns the back. Also, it sits across two upholstered uprights rising cleanly from the round seat.

The Rolled Backrest

The bar is the defining gesture: thick, tubular and deeply satisfying. However, it is not a conventional backrest or a cushion. It is a roll, and it works completely.

Comfort You Can Feel

The round seat is wide and deeply padded. So it gives slightly when you sit and holds you exactly in place. Meanwhile, four cylindrical legs plant firmly at each corner. Because the same sand wool covers everything, the chair reads as one sculpted object.

From across the room, it looks architectural. Up close, however, it is extraordinarily tactile. In short, both things are true, and that is precisely the point.
