Majlis & Living Room Seating

Seating built to the room, the gathering and the way the house is actually used.

Most Dubai villas ask for two kinds of seating at once: a formal majlis that seats a large group with dignity, and a family living room meant to be sat in every evening. They are different problems. A majlis is measured by how many it seats along a wall and how it reads when everyone stands; a family room is measured by depth, softness and how it survives daily use. We design both, in the same material language, so the house holds together.

What We Make

• Majlis seating, wall-run and corner configurations, in any length
• Modular and sectional sofas built to the room’s dimensions, not to catalogue modules
• Armchairs, lounge chairs and occasional seating
• Ottomans, benches and footstools
• Window seats and built-in banquettes
• Coffee tables, side tables and console tables in matching timber and finish
• Cushions, bolsters and loose covers made from the same fabric run

How It Works

1. Site visit and measurement. We measure the room, the circulation around it and the doorways the pieces must pass through.
2. Design and drawings. Layout drawings showing seat counts, depths and clearances, with finishes marked.
3. Materials and finishes. Fabric, foam density, timber and leg detail selected from physical samples.
4. Manufacture in our atelier. Frames built, sprung, filled and upholstered in our own workshop. Production typically runs eight to ten working days once drawings are approved.
5. White-glove installation. Delivered and placed by our own team, with access routes planned in advance.

Materials and Finishes

Kiln-dried hardwood frames; high-resilience and feather-wrapped seat build to the comfort you specify; bouclé, linen, velvet, wool and leather; solid oak, walnut and ash detailing; brass, bronze and blackened steel legs. Where seating faces strong glazing, fabrics are specified to hold their colour.
